The Audio Technica ATH ANC7 Quietpoint Active Noise Cancelling headphones have proved to be one of the leading sellers in the Audio Technica range. They can be used with both high end stereo and entertainment systems, or equally well with a mp3 player or DVD in-flight entertainment system (of which an adapter is included). The ATH ANC7 headphones provide amazing sound clarity over all ranges and regardless of music environment. Some reviewers have stated it’s like, “having the band in your living room.
The Audio Technica ATH ANC7 Quietpoint Active Noise Cancelling headphones are a lightweight closed back headphone with noise cancellation up to 85%, a pretty good level for a mid range headphone. The noise cancellation is powered by a single AAA battery, providing uover 16 hours of service. The headphones come with a mini plug, standard jack plug, and a special adapter to use with aircraft in flight systems. They fold flat for great portability and have a neat carring case included.
All in all, a fantastic headhone for the money, and thoroughly recommended.

Welcome to the noise cancelling headphones website, where we bring you up to the minute product reviews on a wide range of noise cancelling headphones and accessories.
Noise canceling headphones have developed massively over the years, from tight passive noise canceling action, to the modern active noise cancellation utilising battery power to assist. The purpose of the noise canceling function is to remove ambient noise such as background speech or engine noise, to provide the user with amazing, unhindered sound quality and clarity.
The active noise control (ANC) function involves the placing of one or more tiny microphones near the ear, and uses the microphones signal to generate an anti-noise signal. When this signal is produced the headphones ‘cancel’ the noise that is heard in the headphone cup by a method known as destructive inference.
The great thing about headphones with noise canceling attributes, is that one can listen to music at a much lower level that when using standard headphones. The downside of them, if there is one, is that they do use a small battery to power the system, although a single AAA battery can last for over 16 hours of continuous use. They are often a little heavier than non noise canceling headphones. This is however, a small price to pay for the sheer joy of feeling like you are sitting in the room with the band as the music plays.
Please take a look at the headphones we are reviewing on our small site. We provide objective reviews and a good amount of technical information to suit all buyers. We want you to find the best products available, and if our reviews can help you, we’re happy. Good luck, and enjoy the pleasures of noise canceling headphones.
